On arrival at Highfield Park, you will be asked to sanitise your hands as you enter our reception area and a member of staff will also check your temperature (contactless) to ensure you do not have a high temperature or a fever. This information is not recorded anywhere and will only be used to determine if we can allow you into Highfield Park. If your temperature is too high and fails the check, you will be asked to leave Highfield Park.

You will see our markings on the floor towards reception outlining the social distancing. Please respect other guests that may be in front of you checking in and allow them the 2 metre space. You will see that our reception desk has a screen and that the receptionists will be wearing a mask. They will ask you to complete the mandatory registration form and complete any payment for your bedroom. Please note, any pens and card machines will be disinfected before and after you use them.

Your bedroom key will have been prepared in advance by our receptionist wearing gloves and sealed in an envelope for your protection. You will also be provided with a small bottle of hand sanitiser to use.

We will be offering a limited food service during your stay with us. Breakfast can be delivered to your room between 7am and 9am, we will require your order by 10pm the night prior if you would like to do this. There will be no tray charge applied. There will be a breakfast menu as part of your guest bedroom information once you have arrived which will be available to view online as our guest information folders have been temporarily removed from our bedrooms. Or if you wish to take breakfast in our restaurant, we will be offering a table order service rather than our usual buffet that you may have experienced before. For evening meals, there is a menu available to view in the same place as the breakfast menu and again can be taken in your room or in our restaurant. Dinner is served from 6.30pm until 9pm.

Our bar lounge is not open for normal service of food or drinks but you can order drinks to be delivered to your room with your food or whilst eating in our restaurant.

Once inside your bedroom you may notice a few things. We have reviewed room cleaning standards and have made adjustments to reduce contamination risk such as the removal of additional items that may be a source of personal contamination e.g.: extra pillows, refreshment trays, mini bars, room information folders. If you are staying with us for more than one night, we will only be refreshing rooms on every 7th night unless you specifically request a room refresh with reception.

Please note that Highfield Park are operating as a cashless hotel at the moment and only card payments will be accepted on site.
