HIGHFIELD HOTEL HISTORY
HEART OF HAMPSHIRE HERITAGE
Highfield Park located in the Hampshire village of Heckfield has been the central manor house for centuries. The house is of Queen Anne and Georgian periods, however, its cellars and foundations shows signs on an even earlier building.
Since 1819 it has formed part of the Duke of Wellington's Stratfield Saye estate which was presented to the Duke by the British people.
Highfield Park has been home to many people of notoriety including Neville Chamberlain, British Prime Minister and many famous names including Mohammed Ali and Richard Harris have stayed as guests at Highfield.
Highfield Park began operating as a conference and training centre in 1982, and is now an independent hotel, conference centre and venue.
